Rigaku’s NEX QC Series energy dispersive X-ray fluorescence (EDXRF) spectrometers provide an affordable, easy-to-use solution for elemental analysis, making it accessible for any lab or facility. These instruments deliver rapid results and are simple to use, even for non-technical staff.

Models include NEX QC, NEX QC+, and NEX QC+ QuantEZ.

 

NEX QC

The Rigaku NEX QC offers non-destructive analyses of elements from sodium to uranium in nearly any sample type. With its compact size, touchscreen interface, and built-in printer, it’s ideal for for space-limited labs or on-site testing.

This cost-effective system operates without the need for an external computer. Its touchscreen features an intuitive, icon-based interface that guides users through each step of the analysis. This simplicity makes elemental analysis easy and affordable for any lab, production floor, or field setting.

The NEX QC is ideal for routine quality control (QC) applications and can withstand industrial environments. Like Rigaku’s high-end EDXRF systems, it’s made with durable materials for long-lasting performance. It features a 50 kV X-ray tube, a solid-state detector, and automated tube filters. The NEX QC is built with high-precision components, to deliver reliable, consistent performance.

NEX QC+

For more demanding applications, or when fast analysis and high sample throughput are essential, Rigaku provides the NEX QC+. This is a more advanced version of the NEX QC, designed to meet these higher performance needs.

Built on the foundation of the NEX QC, the NEX QC+ offers the same features and options, but with enhanced performance. It’s equipped with a high-performance silicon drift detector (SDD) that delivers sharper peak resolution, better counting statistics, and faster measurement times. This means improved calibration accuracy and greater precision in results.
