High concentrated single element concentrates. – ISO 20884 Test Method

Information

ISO 20884 Test Method

X-ray fluorescence spectroscopy is the technique of preference for the analysis of additive and trace elements in fresh lubricants. The main strengths of the technique are its reproducibility, accuracy and ease of use.
For the calibration of an XRF spectrometer for blending control applications, high concentrated single element concentrates are required. Most of the commercial available organic standards are 5000 ppm and do often contain another non-certified major element (i.e. Sulfur). We can offer a list of high concentrated single element concentrates.
These concentrates are stable for several years (the test period covers 4 years) and miscible with each other. Below you can find a table that lists our commercially available concentrates. The table lists the concentration of the major element, some physical data and the presence of trace elements (72 elements, from Sodium (atomic number 11) up to Uranium (atomic number 92) are tested).
